We are honoured and pleased to invite you to the 2nd Turkish-Hellenic HIPEC and PIPAC Workshop on Peritoneal Metastasis, which will be held in Izmir on 22-24 May 2025.

Izmir, the third largest city in Turkey, is a modern and developed city as well as an important cultural, artistic, tourism and trade centre. The Aegean Sea stretches along the western coast of the province with its bays and beaches in all colours of blue from navy blue to turquoise. The ancient cities of Ephesus in the south and Pergamon in the north of Izmir are fascinating centres of attraction for history buffs. The birthplace of Homer, the master of poetry, Izmir is a blend of the rapidly changing history of Anatolia and the colourful history of the Aegean.

In this workshop, steps from the mechanisms of peritoneal metastasis of cancer cell to advanced treatment methods will be discussed for General Surgery, Gynaecological Oncology, Anaesthesiology and Medical Oncology specialists.

In addition, trainees will have the chance to practice live PIPAC in the operating theatre and Cytoreductive Surgery on Fresh Frozen Cadaver / HIPEC with mentors.
